Updating my Facebook profile

After scanning in my old Santa photos from my childhood I decided to update my social network profiles with my favorite picture. I like how the Facebook profile turned out the best.

The image provides a nice shadow effect making it look like it is popping out of the page some. The image is also well sized and the aged cardboard frame adds a lot of character to the clean blue and white color scheme. I wish there was a setting in facebook to do this with any photo uploaded to the site… perhaps a cool idea for a facebook app.

Happy Holidays - A time for Serenity

A post like this probably would have been even better while most were starting to burn through their winter breaks/vacation however I have never been the most timely person and some of my best ideas come after the fact… But to not delay any longer (and the spirt of giving should be celebrated on more than just one day) I bring to you Firefly, Season 1.

I snagged these off of Hulu.com and posted them to my tumblelog to share with friends and family who yet have been able to get into the beta. And even though I claim to be a science fiction fan myself I have never seen the show so I was tickled pink to find it on Hulu.

Resolutions and rebirth

It has been a while since I have posted anything to this blog. I started playing around with wordpress again and I love all of the new features since my last visit. I’m really excited about getting into blogging again and I hope to write some, what I consider, valuable insights to the world of business, leadership and tech.

Let me know if you have any topics suggestions or other ideas. And I look forward to sharing stories and comments with you as part of my new year’s resolution and rebirth of execution (vs sitting on my but coming up with ideas and not doing anything with them).
